The article below is very interesting and just goes to show the increasing numbers of people using acupuncture for a wide variety of ailments. Could it be that we are just saying similar things in different languages?
While the medics are using high tech methods to prove the effects of acupuncture seems to me we should be turning the the theories of physics to explain how and why it works. Those of you who studied GCSE chemistry and physics will already have learnt of the effects of heat for example on the movement of substances at a molecular level and the changes that brings about within elements. Surely these movements and changes are just another way of describing the movement and structure of what is called Qi (pronounced chee) in acupuncture and chinese medicine – same subject different language.
